Learning to Play Again
I am new to photography, but at the end of the day, I am an artist regardless of the tools that I am using. I have always wanted to explore photography but never had the confidence to do so. My toys gave me a way to safely practice my photography without judgement. These plastic pieces that are seemingly meaningless to others have brought so much joy to our house, and through the photography of them, I have learned to find and explore my inner child. To some they are just toys, to me they are childhood dreams and adult passions. Through toy photography I have discovered that there is no reason we should let go of the things that excite us as children. With photography I can breathe new life into these frozen objects.
